What is Flex?

This class came about when I was working within Stroke Rehab during Covid. A stroke can be life changing or even fatal , and I know we can not always prevent falls, but if we can work on our balance, and strengthen our core, it does give us a better chance of regaining our balance, should we trip. In this class we work on improving our balance using various exercises ie : standing on one leg, walking with eyes closed ( don’t worry I have mine open ) and we do exercises to strengthen the core.

What are the benefits of Flex?

Improvement in Posture, Flexibility, Balance, Stability and Core strength.

What do I need and what do I wear?

It’s normal exercise wear which is comfortable. A yoga mat is great if you have one, but I do have spare and all other equipment we may use is provided eg: resistance bands, small pilates balls and more… A drink is always recommended
